Als die US-Schützenkompanie 'C-FOR-CHARLY' 1942 widerstandslos auf der von Japanern besetzten Südsee-Insel Guadalcanal landet, ahnt niemand, welche Kriegshölle in diesem Paradies auf sie wartet.
