▐▌█ The Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers are a large, 285-voice ensemble who have been performing together
▐▌█ since the early 1980s. This unusual performance gave the Singers a chance to spread the word of God
▐▌█ to the inmates of Angola Prison, which is part of the Louisiana State Penitentiary. Angola is a maximum
▐▌█ security facility that houses some of the most dangerous prisoners in America. This performance formed
▐▌█ part of a faith-based educational program that has greatly reduced the number of violent outbursts in
▐▌█ the facility. The songs in THE MIRACLE OF HOPE are interspersed with interviews from various wardens and prisoners from Angola.
